Toronto Warehouse Wedding
“Huy and Graham’s Toronto warehouse wedding was glam to the max with a chic black, white, and metallic palette. Blue Lavender Events created a sophisticated scene in The Burroughes Building with black linens, white orchids, and gold elements, all of which paired beautifully with Huy’s glitzy Jenny Packham gown.
The cherry on the cake was an elegant crystal chandelier from Ellyn Lilly that hung over guests as they celebrated the newlyweds with dinner and dancing. A Brit & A Blonde captured all of the magic, from each stylish detail to every sincere moment.”
Why We Love It
We simply love the urban industrial wedding venue space together with gold color scheme. Glamorous decor and fashion styling reminiscent of the first half of the 20th century. And then there is that fabulous gold sequin table runner – yes please!
Graham is quite the dashing groom – complete with bow tie, tuxedo, and piercing gaze. He looks like he would be comfortable on a downtown billboard advertising fine gentleman’s clothing. Career change Graham?
We absolutely love the altar decor incorporating these round glass terrariums. Use them to hang candle holders in a unique way.
Gold Glam & Glitter
The gold glam wedding decor look is popular. We love how Huy and Graham created a truly elegant gold look, complete with a sparkling river of gold sequins! Too many sequins can quickly overpower, but the photos below show that sequins in the right amount, coupled with mercury glass, can provide a powerful visual decor punch.
